Shepard Bentley

Strategic advisor and regulatory affairs

Shepard Bentley, a US citizen, is the regulatory affairs officer and a strategic advisor to Plass Rescue Technologies. He retired from the reserve of the U.S. Marine Corps as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2005, after having served in Iraq.
Mr. Bentley is dedicated to the advancement of life sciences.  Next to his military career in the Marine Corps Reserve 1980 - 2005, active 1985 - 1988, 1991, 2001 - 2004 for national defense operations (combat logistics), he was working successfully in the field of Medical Device Technologies since 1984 at Hospital Corporation of America, Kendal-McGaw Laboratories, TOSHIBA America, Volcano Therapeutics, Edwards Lifesciences, EV3/Covidien/Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, BBraun, etc. (over 100 companies) as a consultant for quality and regulatory affairs.
 
Mr. Bentley is holding a B.A. of the University of The South (Cambridge University affiliated, Sewanee, Tennessee), further he performed advanced studies (pre-doctoral) in forensic philology at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität (Mainz, Germany) and a Masters Program in Operational Warfare at the Naval War College (Newport, Rhode Island).
